This reason is specifically why we picked this particular hotel, and we couldn’t have been happier with our selection. ->Check Availability<-

With only 10 rooms, this hotel offers guests a “like home” atmosphere, where all of the details have been well thought through. Hosts, John and Lynn, along with their family, go out of their way to help you feel welcome and comfortable. ->Check Current Prices<-

A full cooked-to-order Irish breakfast is made available to hotel guests, locals, and passer-bys. Unlike many hotels, which have an early cut-off for breakfast, the Rathbaun Hotel serves breakfast until noon. Unfortunately, we had to check out early and were not able to enjoy the breakfast. We did, however, eat at the restaurant the night before and very much enjoyed our hearty selections!

The hotel bar offers nightly live Irish music in the months of June, July, and August.

We felt fortunate to have our visit fall during this time in order to be able to experience wonderful traditional Irish music during our time on the Emerald Isle. Ceolan played for 4 hours straight!

A word of caution- the band plays until midnight and can be heard from various rooms in the hotel, so if you want to go to sleep before midnight during the summer months, you may want to request a room on the opposite end of the hotel. We were in Room 21 right above the stage and the music could be heard very clearly through the floor at 11:30 pm when we retreated back to our room. Not really a bother to us, but something we wanted to mention if you book a room at the Rathbaun Hotel! Of course you don’t have to stay at the Rathbaun to enjoy their live nightly music in the summer. Stop in, have a pint and/or even a meal and soak up the wonderful Irish flavors and sounds!
